When listening to “Flirt with Disaster,” many may think that in this record I’m warning another girl about a guy that I’ve had a bad experience with. But I’m actually talking to myself and reminding “her” not to fall back into a bad situation that “she” was once in. Sometimes although you have feelings for someone, they aren’t good for you. This is me reminding “that girl over there” this and that she’s gone through this before. In the chorus, I flip the conversation and tell this boy how this relationship has affected me in the past but I’m better than that!
